That last 5 mins is a killer and jm seriously scared of the next one!
I was resorting to the gym when the park was closed or the ground slippy but then I remembered the treadmill at my sisters so life is easier (and cheaper!)
I feel lazy somehow on the treadmill though...like I should get out in the fresh air ❄️⛄️☔️

Well done. This week is more of a mental challenge. I lovingly think of this one as my gremlin week! Trust in Laura, she's got you this far and remember slow and steady does it. And if necessary you might have to give your mind a damn good talking to Good luck with the rest of this week
I've never run on a treadmill but we haven't had the icy weather here that a lot of people have. I suspect I would find it pretty boring
I have done all of my C25K on a treadmill at the gym so far, and have just finished W5R1. I was on track to run my first park run on my 45th birthday in January, but a chest cold has put that back by a couple of weeks. I quite like running at the gym as I still get the opportunity to do some weights afterwards, and overall it has helped with me losing about 10 pounds since I started.
The one thing that has really helped me when running on the treadmill is to NOT LOOK AT THE TIME. I just focus on running at a comfortable pace, put some tunes on and enjoy the run. In the first few week s I was running at about 10.5kph, but am now running at 9.5 which so far gphas been ok. Will wind it back to 9 as the distance starts creeping up and will see how that goes.
I have also bought a heart rate monitor which is interesting - my rest pulse is 57, and my peak whilst running so far has been 173 which I think is not bad for my age.
Just trust in Laura, slow down a bit if you need to, and enjoy the run
