I use a metronome to make sure that I run at 180bpms - Does anyone else use one?
I swear by it so that I am definitely running at a constant pace.

I've used Audiofuel podcasts but they are at 155 and 165 bpm. 180 sounds really fast - feet striking the ground 3 times a second.
Does it not get a little monotonous? I don't really like having anything in my ears tbh, but 180bpm ticking for half an hour would drive me insane, I think. It would be like being in the world's most minimalist techno club.
I have used a metronome quite a bit in the early days of C25k - when I was basically discovering "how" I run. Since then I sometimes use one for a while to make sure that I am not "slacking". I also run at a high cadence - around 180 BPM. I find it almost impossible to run at a slower cadence - so I am unable to run to much music ( which I cant anyway because musicians/singers seem to vary the BPM during their songs) I have tried Podrunner -- but don't like that much either.
Metronomes are really only used to train runners - not for them to run to the beat of a metronome in their ears at all times ! As such they are a good training tool.
