I've just signed up for the Race for Life in July and my local Hospice Rainbow Run (a paint throwing one) - very excited!!! I still can't believe I'm signing up for races, that I will be able to realistically RUN!
Now three months on from graduation and regularly running 5k two or three times per week. (In 37 or so mins, not 30, but I'm happy with that).

Race For Life in June and I'm determined to run it all rather than walk/half-hearted jog like previous races. This will be my 4th and my 11yo daughter's 3rd, probably our last if we don't get anymore donations which is a shame because we love donning bunny ears and taking part. Quite disheartening that only one person (My best friend) has sponsored us so far in spite of my efforts, doesn't seem worth taking part anymore
That's a real shame yours not getting the sponsorship, I've yet to start trying. It's my first race for life and the reason I did c25k in the first place, I hope you manage to get enough to continue
Race for life with my daughter in July Really wanted to do the 10k not 5 but ironically my sprinter, 14 yr old doesn't think she would make it round!!!! He He
I'm off for my first race tomorrow! 5k around the Olympic Park in Stratford, with a couple of friends for Sports Relief. I can't believe I'm doing it, but really excited too! Perhaps the first of many? but I'm not too keen on crowds/loads of noise - I kinda love running in the park, on my own... Shall have to see how tomorrow goes....
