When i first started this challenge, i thought OMG i am NEVER going to manage this, after all the puffing of just doing a 60 second run. Now after completing week 3 only yesterday ( yes i know i should have a rest day!!) i pushed myself to start week 4 today, i mentally told myself not to run too fast and at times it seemed like i was almost jogging backwards!, but i DID IT, and am sooo pleased, i can feel myself getting fitter each time i go out. I will be having a rest day tomorrow but will be back at it again on Wednesday. Wish i had started this ages ago.

Its an amazing feeling when you do something you thought you'd never be capable of. Keep at it, the rewards are well worth it.

So familiar to so many of us. Well done, but I would be cautious about skipping rest days unless you are already pretty fit. The pressures you are putting on your body are increasing each week and those rest days are crucial to recovery. Injuries are more likely to happen if you push too hard. I remember feeling exactly the same as you at that stage but resisted the temptation and only ran consecutive days for the first time last week, four and a half months after starting running.
Your last sentence is a sentiment that we all agree on. Keep running. Good luck.
