The podcast is 30 mins consisting of 5 min walk warm up, 20 mins of 60 sec run/ 90 sec walk and ends with 5 min walk cool down.

I take it you are talking about week 1? I remember in total you were running for 8 minutes in total I think. So if you just count eight 60 second runs you should be fine. Also, I don't know why you aren't listening to the podcast, but I'd give them a try because they are so motivating, and you won't have to trouble yourself with the logistics of the run. I think the week 1 podcast didn't actually go on for very long but the 5 minutes warm up walk are always extra up front.
