Singapore
Hi Grahame151 I visited Singapore many years ago way before my COPD started. My memory is that the humidity was really high. We’d walk along the street then had to go into a hotel or somewhere just to get into a place with air conditioning. I remember one day it rained it stopped as quickly as it started, as soon as it stopped the sun came out and the steam rose as the ground dried? It’s a fascinating place I’m sure you would enjoy it and so many places have air con so it’s quite easy to get out of the humidity. Hope this helps enjoy Barbs x
Hi Grahame. I agree with barbs about the ability to nip into buildings to avoid the heat and humidity. The indoor air conditioning in Singapore is amazingly efficient! Only point I would add is to keep an eye on the air quality. This lovely place, like KL and other areas in SE Asia, periodically suffers from what they call the 'Singapore Haze'. There are some very useful web-sites which continually monitor and map this. On my visits, I usually limit my time outdoors if it looks poor. Otherwise, have a terrific time!
