Peroxide nebulizer

Exactly how do you use peroxide in a nebulizer? What is the correct mix?

I have never heard of a doctor recommending the use of Peroxide in a nebulizer. I do recall reading someone here who used it I just don;t recall who or when. The Director of Education for Right2Breathe R2B_Michele is away on vacation right now but I will ask her to respond here when she returns.

My personal opinion- Peroxide is not a new product, so if there really was some worthwhile use for nebulizing it, there would already be a ton of information available. It does say on the package "do not ingest" so I would recommend NOT nebulizing it. I am not a doctor or trained medical professional so this is just my personal opinion. I would not want to see anyone have a negative effect to make an already difficult diagnosis potentially worse. I'm sorry that I'm not much help on this...

NEVER USE peroxide as anything but a diluted MOUTH WASH. You inhale it you may die. There are two grades of it. Industrial and household. Many think the household is best. That is 35% while industrial is liken3%. But either WILL kill you. and thats a fact.
