I have been busy with family stuff lately. I'd like to,know if anyone has pain across their abdomen. Mine has been hurting for awhile but I can't get into my Dr until May, 3. I don't know if its cold related or something else

Sorry Bugabuga I can't help since that is one symptom that I have not had. Please report back after MD visit and push for earlier appt or go to ER if it worsens.

If the pain is at the top of your stomach just below your ribs, it is possible that it is gastroparisis (especially if you are diabetic or have had any nerve damage in this area). However, there are many other possibilities also. (GERD, hiatal hernia, IBS ...) Your doctor will order all kinds of tests that are rather inconvenient, but necessary to make a correct diagnosis.

Abdomen pain, is not a symptom l.have, having endstage COPD. People can live over 20 years longer, being in this 4th stage of copd, they just must slow down and take the good with the bad. I am voncerned, though, that pain in the digestive tract can have other lethal diagnosis. After my mom was in a severe car accident (*we nearly lost her but she is now recovered, 11 years later, thank the Lord) but a a family had been visiting their mother, who presented with just abdominal pain. They discovered her intestine was toxic, and diseased, to the point she could not recover. It had been an ongoing problem her 8 children begged her to take care of. She passed, from this as she endured the pain. You should ask your PVP to look into the cause of this pain. It could just be symptomatic, from coughing, but, it can also be something far worse, if not looked into. Best wishes, in returning to a better place.
