Do you irrigate?

Irrigation is a somewhat under-promoted method in the UK for managing some types of colostomy, where rather than wearing a bag you empty the bowel when you flush it with water.

It would be nice to make more people aware of this topic. I have been approached by someone doing research into it, and would like to hear from anyone who is experienced who can give them some thoughts/feelings about how it works.

Thanks!

I irrigate, Neil. I have done since November 2012 and it has made the management of my stoma so much easier and more predictable. What would you like to know?
