Issues going from jpouch back to stoma

Hi lovely people,

I have a friend who after issues with their jpouch for a few years has now gone back to a stoma bag. All was going well for a couple weeks then had be taken back into hospital due to severe dehydration and infections.

He and his partner are a little worried and are just after any advice from someone who's gone through similar. He has been drinking all the usual water, electrolyte drinks, coconut water. And also eating the recommended low fibre foods after surgery.

I have a stoma myself but could only provide reassurance on certain things as i haven't had a jpouch. So, was looking for any advice from someone who's gone through a similar journey, what is common after this surgery and other things they could expect etc.

Many thanks
