We're gradually feeling our way through things but my husband has advised me that he is having difficulties with waistbands - he either needs to pull his trousers up really high or have his trousers hanging really low. Is there any solution, for instance to the support belts help. I did buy him ilieostomy/ostomy underwear but even that doesn't help. Any suggestions would be really helpful

I tend to find I wear track suit trousers for the most part, the best my wife has found is M&S track suit trousers, they have a high wast band and look nice. Around town shopping or at home I wear a cover over the bag and a shirt or tee shirt with the bag out and the trousers that are not comfortable over the bag under it with the bag out and the shirt over not tucked in. The trousers for going out to dinner or something the wife found from Chums with high wast. When ever possible do use the changing room. The wife just said find the extra length on trousers leg.
Good luck we bought loads of different types and waisted a lot of money hope you find this helpful.

I have execatly the same problem, my solution larger size and always with a drawstring (Most important!) Primark the best and a lot cheaper than M&S. Loungewear ideal.
My husband found that the M & S jeans were okay - not perfect. Around the house he wears draw string trackie bottoms
Because it is impossible to wear a belt with an ileostomy, I went to sweat pants or others like that with a cord that ties them up to wherever you want them to be, specifically above the bag itself. This kind of makes you look like the "Urkel" character from tv. I then stared wearing my shirts not tucked in so no one could tell where the top of the pants were.
