Will these seeds get caught in the pockets of diverticuli? should I take metamusil after reversal of temporary ileostomy to push things along. Who advises on this ...primary care or who? I am drinking a lost of water now!

Sorry; all I can answer is the question about foods. And, unfortunately, it seems to vary from person to person. All you can really do is try things one at a time, in small amounts, chew well, and see how it goes. I have a permanent ileostomy, and I eat almost everything. I do have to be careful with raw fruits and vegetables. But I have Crohn's, not diverticulitis.

Thank you for both your responses.....I do see the doctor tomorrow and have my list of questions written out to ask. sometimes I get a little pain under my right ribcage....and a lot of gas....maybe the food is telling me something!
