35 i would like to know if i should worry about this bowel movement i had this morning.

 i normally have one bowel movement a day first thing in the morning.I eat a pretty healthy diet and only drink water.I do have BAD health anxiety though . please help me relax bit.I do have an appt with a GI doctor in a couple weeks.Im healthy otherwise and feel great. Normal blood work is great and what not.

Hi, health anxiety is a terrible thing. I also suffer this,have done for many years. Every pain, ache or whatever and it is something serious. Obviously your doctor does not think your condition is life threatening and at least you have a colonoscopy next month which will see the problem. It could be anything, our bowels can have many conditions. I am a lot older than you and had a FIT test last December which came back positive. So here in UK we are on a 2 week pathway. After a colonoscopy it was benign polyps and diverticulosis. I already have haemorrhoids. So not cancer. Do not worry, and make sure you take all the prep no matter how horrible it is. They need a clear bowel to see everything. I am sure it will be OK. Best wishes

Sorry you have an appt with a GI doctor not a colonoscopy. I’m mixed up with another post. Good luck with that.
