Colon update

So I have been constipated and stuff like that and It’s been pretty sucky googling all of these symptoms i’ve been having and seeing all the horrible things that there are. I went to the doctor and I got an xray. I was so nervous about it and he just called me on the update on my colon. He said there is nothing on the xray that is causing this constipation. He said it was all clear. He put me on some laxatives today so i’m gonna start those and hopefully go back to normal. I’m hoping that’s all there is to it. If it doesn’t get any better then i’m gonna see him again next week. Is this good that he said the xray is clear? i’m still a bit worried that there is something else there but he did say it was clear. Any suggestions?

You're doing great. We appreciate the follow up. An evaluation being clear is good information to have. If you still have the symptoms occurring, then we still need answers.

So, we have some more information from the x-ray. It's not showing anything as the cause of your constipation. It is a good thing to hear it's all clear. Your doctor prescribed some laxatives because even if the x-ray said "clear", the issue is still present. For the next week you're going to evaluate the effects of the laxatives. It will be interesting to see if that's the solution and we hope it is.

However, the original issues were constipation and blood in the stool. Did your doctor address anything about the blood? Is that still an issue? If that's not a part of the issue, that's great. We move forward.

I applaud your efforts to take action to get answers. Trust me. You're inspiring others.

Thank you. It’s nice to hear that it’s clear. If the issue is still present i’m going straight to the doctors. Hopefully it clears and nothing is major…
