So I have had thin stool for the last few months, no blood and just recently started to have some pain on left abdomen. Should I be concerned? Mom and Gma both had colon cancer so I am just curious if I should have concern

You obviously are concerned hence the question, best to see your Dr as nobody here can tell you what might be wrong or not.
