The 2021 event features 63 speakers from 13 countries, including presentations from colorectal cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers who share their experiences and offer advice to the community, as well as representatives from patient advocacy organizations around the globe sharing research results, best practices, and more.
The Congress offers presentations using patient-friendly terminology from experts in the medical field from prestigious institutions including Cleveland Clinic, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Harvard Medical School, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and The Ruesch Center for the Cure of Gastrointestinal Cancers, among others.
The 50+ presentations cover the following topics: Research and Scientific Advancements in Treatments and Clinical Trials, COVID-19 and Cancer, Prevention and Screening, Biomarker Testing and Precision Medicine, Biologics and Biosimilars, Young-Onset Colorectal Cancer Education and Awareness, Navigating Survivorship, Unmet Needs of Carers and Caregivers, Best Practices in Grassroots Advocacy, and the Healing Arts.
The online event offers live engagement during the sessions on April 27 and 28, but the event doesn’t end on the 28th. The presentations will be available for on-demand viewing throughout the year. Viewers can submit questions via the website or social media.
