Hello guys sorry for my bad english but i hope that u will understand :)

2.3 months ago I started noticing that my stool is different than usual. For example, it is a little soft on the edges, as if it is not formed on the edges even though it has the appearance of a sausage*.* I started to notice red spots on the stool and I tested for bleeding and everything was fine, that's what I thought because those red spots looked a lot like pieces of food. But for a month now, I've been having trouble changing the look of my stool. Water is never like water nor do I have Constipation , mostly sometimes it is formed properly, sometimes it is more like muschy i think that is a word. Also, I have some pain in my left abdomen, also on an abdominal ultrasound I was told I had large amounts of gas. I never have any major stomach pains, mostly some discomfort accompanied by gas. My bowel movement is regular, I'm just telling you, that sometimes it's formed, sometimes it's not, it just passes through me, but not like diarrhea. I started eating figs and I noticed that in the last 5.6 days it was always formed and firm, but yesterday and today I noticed that in addition to the normally formed stool, a small thin part, shaped like a pencil, came out, so I scared it wasn't the worst. It also sometimes happens to me after emptying my bowels, that I have a feeling I could do it again. In the last month I have been in some nervousness and panic, so I am interested in your opinions related to my situation, whether the fact that I saw such a thinly formed stool in addition to normal means something? BTW My Cbc is good, I do not have vomiting, I rarely have acid and nausea of a lower intensity.

Hello Pameedf ,Thank you for posting. We suggest you see your doctor to discuss the symptoms you are experiencing. Based on your family history and other information you will provide your doctor, and possibly a physical exam, they may want to do tests.

Keep in mind that unfortunately, stress and anxiety impact our GI systems. I know it is easy for me to tell you how important it is to relax, and a lot harder to actually relax. The best advice we can give is that you make an appointment with your doctor, and try to distract yourself in the meantime to lessen the anxiety.

There are many chronic conditions that can cause bowel-related symptoms, and there are medications and diet changes that can be made to improve what you are experiencing.

Before you speak to your doctor, be sure to have written down a list of all medications that you are currently taking, including over-the-counter medications and supplements. Often, patients with GI issues will also keep a food journal to track food and beverage intake, bowel movements, any pain or bleeding, etc. This could be useful information for your doctor. Additionally, it could show you a pattern (for instance, possibly being lactose intolerant, if you experience diarrhea after eating dairy).

Please make that appointment and keep us posted!
