How long has this being going on for?

This is certainly something you need to discuss with your doctor as soon as possible.

It could be simply nodes shrinking, or enlarging, all the way to a transformation which is rare but a possibility.

I had a Richter's transformation in July after treatment...and the one thing I have learned...ANY strange occurrences, lumps, bumps, pain, discomfort, etc... you need to be in your CLL doctor's office immediately.

In 9 out of 10 cases it will be something minor ...but in that 1 case it could be extremely serious.... PLEASE be proactive...see your doctor.

For about 6 weeks or so. It's OK today but when it does get uncomfortable it's generally the left hand side. I had my cervical lymph nodes removed about two years ago and it's just above that scar that it feels uncomfortable the most. I've had a good feel around and can't feel anything untowards. This feeling is deep within the neck and not on the surface. Generally, I feel well ... a lot better than I was 12 months ago.

I have to agree with Chris. It's easy to blame everything on our CLL. It's also easy to try to convince ourselves that a new symptom is nothing, and talk ourselves out of seeing a doctor, because we don't want to hear bad news. Having your neck checked will give you peace of mind if it's nothing, and give you answers if something is going on.
