Hi, my nephew was 13 year old when he got diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. We are trying to manage it through diet and exercise (physical activity - playing cricket every day) and no allopathy medicines, only homeopathy medicines.
Still sometimes his sugar levels spike like once in 3-4 months. We keep monitoring his sugar levels everyday fasting and after meals. We believe that he has got diagnosed with diabetes due to his weight and puberty as his parents and no grandparents have diabetes history.
Is anyone aware about this kind of diabetes like type 2 diabetes because of puberty ?
Can this be cured permanently without medicines or managed through lifestyle changes ? Will this go away after some years like when he is 18-20 years of age?
Can anyone throw some light on this ?
