Could eat a boot

Hello Hopeful, welcome to this forum. This place helped me so much to accept my disease and I hope it will give you support too.
At first, knowing about having CLL was so psychologically stressful for me that I lost my appetite. Now, three months later, my weight is back to normal. However, unintentional weight loss is a typical symptom of progressing CLL. Losing 10% within 6 months can be a reason to start treatment. Talk to your doctor for a professional assessment.
Otherwise, all I can think of is to choose food according to your taste with a high energy density that does not stay in the stomach for long. Eat frequently and in portions you can manage.
All the best,
Zweistein
Have you been diagnosed with chronic leukemia? Your problem seems like it needs to be checked by a medical doctor. Definitely seek help from one.
hello, I'm so sorry for your current experience, that sounds really tough. I do not have CLL so can offer very little advice (I'm a spouse of someone who does) but I just thought in case it was at all helpful that I would mention ginger as a possible cure- drinking root ginger, eating ginger biscuits or even candied root ginger may help to calm things for you to get a bit more of a meal. Sending you the very best and hope that this resolves for you soon xx
Hello, have you had testing, specifically regarding your spleen? Are you feeling "full" or is nausea your only symptom? Ever had issues with ulcers? Some things to contemplate and discuss with your specialist, feel better!
Hopeful074,
We are a community of persons with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). Is that the community you are seeking? If so, it would be most helpful to us for you to share your experience in regard to CLL.
Are you in treatment and think your treatment is causing you situation with hunger and inability to eat enough?
What you have described does not fit a usual symptom for having CLL. You may not be in the community you need to get help for your situation.
I agree with others that you need to consult a Dr. because your description of what is happening sounds like a serious condition.
There are other communities in Healthunlocked and most likely one you can find as a fit, once you get a diagnosis and have more information.
Best wishes for getting this sorted soon.
Could it possibly be splenomegaly (enlarged spleen)? I found I could only eat small meals while my spleen was enlarged as it pressed against the stomach.
