This is one for UK people.I've been using work trips and Amex to build up avios to try and help fund a big holiday.
Now I'm getting close my mind turns to the extras including travel insurance. Have looked online but nowhere will give quote without the 3rd degree over the phone.
Has anyone got multitrip insurance that isn't a deal breaker?
Cheers

You’ll find that all insurance companies will give you the third degree when you have CLL Toby. They do a very thorough medical screening and it can be very time consuming and irritating. There’s a script they don’t deviate from I’m afraid. Here’s a list from some years ago I posted on possible travel insurers. It’s a case of comparing premiums but make sure you have a GHIC card too (obtained freely online). Most insurers insist you have one as part of the T&C’s.
Hey Toby, I have been using Avanti travel insurance. I only ever used Europe and I do not have any other comorbidities. I used them when on w&w and post treatment and the price is reasonable. I have never needed to claim any compensation - grateful for that - so not sure how good they are when things go wrong but I have seen them mentioned on here a couple of times.
Toby as I recall you are newly diagnosed and not in treatment so in theory it shouldn’t be too complicated, and if you have all details online of all your other appointments with GP and hospital it makes life easier.
I have , since being diagnosed with CLL in 2008, just taken insurance for individual trips and given up on multi trip insurance, I have an annual policy through my bank which excludes conditions like cancer. I am still in W and W with relatively low lymph and WBC counts. They ask if lymph and WBC counts have been stable and if you are on treatment. The big jump in premiums came when I hit 70 a few years ago and not from CLL.
