Ventaclax Reaction

Hi. Has anyone on ventaclax ever had a blister like reaction. They appear almost like mosquito bites and then become slightly infected with some puss. They could very well be mosquito bites as a live very close to the water but they are appearing in places where I'm fully clothed so I'm at a bit of loss.

Yes I had little blister but mine were quite hard and not often. As you say in odd places. They didn't really bother me. I get a huge reaction to mosquitos so it wasn't bites.

Are the "fully clothed" areas in hairy places, especially where skin is rubbing again clothing or something else like a chair leg, necklace? If a hair follicle gets irritated, even normal skin flora may "overgrow". If it's an area known to be common for acne, is it possible acne causing bacteria are forming tiny pimples?

Yes I get them. They come on and take about week or two to disappear. They can be very itchy. My thought it is a way for the body to get rid off the toxicity from the medication. I went through all the CLL meds, Venetoclax being the last. They all created skin rashes for me.

I would let my hemo/onco know, and see a dermatologist.

Yes, I have been getting them. I thought I was getting a return of acne in my old age, but they are exactly how you’ve described them.
