CAR-T and IG weekly injections

I am nearly 9 years into CLL with TP53 deletion and unmutated IGHV. I am starting Breyanzi CAR-T therapy with lymphodepletion this week and CAR-T cell infusions next week. I have gone through all other approved therapies but am taking Ibrutinib to help with T-cell effectiveness. I currently have self administered weekly IG injections. Does anyone have any knowledge about stopping or continuing IG during the CAR-T ramp-up and continued therapy or restarting IG sometime later?

I don't know the official answer, but I would think that your immune system will appreciate the additional help provided by antibodies/immunoglobulins that are capable of neutralising bugs before they get the chance to make you sick. So I suspect you'd be asked to continue with your IgG.

I tend to agree with you but my transplant doctor seems to be not so convinced. I would like to take a deeper dive on this so I will consult with my immunologist who recommended the IG self injections.
