I haven't been posted anything for a while. My father started venclyxto treatment last week he is doing ok at the moment he only complaining about tiredness, after taking it. He need to go to hospital every week until they get the right dosage. Hopefully he will be fine.
Is anybody having a similar treatment ?

When many of us with CLL start treatment it takes several weeks or even months until our bone marrow returns to normal and can produce adequate red blood cells that reduce fatigue.
Your father's weekly hospital trips are to allow the dosage of venetoclax / Venclyxto to be increased gradually to prevent a serious reaction to the drug - it normally takes 5 weeks to reach the recommended dosage of 400 mg. See ema.europa.eu/en/medicines/...

Yes I have been on Venetoclax now for 2 months. You start on a low dose and i am now on 400mg per day. I haven't noticed any really bad side affects yet, but I take it in the evening. I have a weakened immune system because of it, so you must be cautious. Hope all goes well.
