Zanubrutinib and hair loss?

Hello and Happy Holidays to all!

After almost 5 years post captivate trial, I will likely start Zanubrutinib in February or March.

My specialist suggested taking Simvastatin in combination with Celebrex experimentally for a couple of months to see if my numbers remain stable. If not, then I will begin Zanubrutinib.

One of the disheartening side effects for me while on the Captivate trial was hair breakage and thinning. I'm not sure if it was the Ibrutinib alone or the comination of Ibrutinib and Venetoclax. I'm wondering if anyone here on Zanubrutinib is experiencing that particular side effect.

Of course it will not stop me from taking the medication, but I would like to prepare myself for it if that's people's experience.

Thanks so much!

I’ve been on ZANU for ten months. No hair loss. No side effects.

Hi. I have been on Ibrutinib for 4 years. Had issues with thinning and breaking hair. I have been taking Biotin daily for most of that time with much improvement. Not an overnight cure but slowly improves. Best wishes.
