Awe I am always lifted and strengthened physically, mentally and spiritually in the mountains.
Here are some of the wall to wall wild flowers after a 900 vertical foot 2 mile hike at 9,000 feet ( I won't lie, what used to be easy is now exhausting after relapse and starting V + O but the adrenaline rush prevailed)

Kind of individual thing over the last 18 months I have worked back to using all of them ๐ have just done a crazy 47 mile gravel race as I wanted the experience
Wow stunning! Great achievement there's nothing like an adrenaline rush when you've done a good climb or walk especially with a view like that. I find it quite tough sometimes but what a reward.
Beautiful-- The other day, I went to my local boutique and noticed framed photos on the wall for from a local photographer.....Of course I thought of you.
Wow, that's some beautiful mountain scenery to be in amongst.
I'm like you Skipro, whenever I get up into the mountains I feel and function better. Nan Shepherd, in "The Living Mountain", has this to say: "At first I had thought that this lightness of body was a universal reaction to rarer air. It surprised me to discover that some people suffered malaise at altitude that released me, but were happy in low valleys where I felt extinguished. Then I began to see that our devotions have more to do with our physiological pecularities than we care to admit. I am a mountain lover because my body is at its best in the rarer air of the heights and communicates its elation to the mind".
๐ Skipro! How very very lovely!! Glad to hear you are out and about enriching yourself in every way ๐ . Thank you for taking us along by posting yet another breathtaking photo. Sure wish I was there. I can imagine the breeze and nearly smell the air...such a relaxing yet invigorating sight. Please keep these gorgeous photos coming, Skipro.
Awe the smells were so amazing as it had rained earlier. Cool pine scented air is good for my soul especially to help forget my disease and treatments!
Beautiful picture! Keep them coming. I'm so envious of you right now. LoL ๐ If I did a hike like you just did I would be exhausted for days. But it would be so worth it for that view! Thanks for sharing your beautiful outing with all of us. Here's to many more outings in the near future. Cheers
Great pic Skipro n an epic ski area Alta is as a summer beauty too.
The pic reminds me of one of my fav hikes that starts near Crested Butte n goes through โSound of Musicโ mountain heavily flowered high alpine meadows(like your pic shows) n then the trail goes over the Maroon Bells n down into Aspen.
Hikes like yours SkiPro and the one I just described are therapeutic!
Keep those great pics coming n keep up your recovery SkiPro!
