Botox
I'm not familiar with an "applied" form, Botox is an injection. I use smaller amounts than "usual". I did a major series of it in my 30's so some "preventative effect" that now means I use less than recommended. Plus IMO the "recommended" amounts give one a frozen face which is overkill. Softening a few lines instead of trying to smooth out the skin like people in their 20's.
If your platelets are "too low" you may ooze a bit. If you ooze at the puncture site when getting blood drawn, Botox may not be a great idea.
I always recommend people start with small amounts, to see how you react personally. I remember one woman who got it the first time just before going on a major vacation so she would look better in pictures. I had to send her to a local doc, one eyebrow was markedly higher than the other, to get it fixed.
