Today, 5th April the NHS app will allow you to book the next Covid Spring booster. (I’m 6 months from the last).

Vaccinations start on 17th April.

We are used to the system. Just take proof of CLL. 🙂

Yeh I heard...

Is it 5 or 6 vacc injections I've had now?

I think this will be my 6th...

Covid still very much alive and well locally. SW UK.

Most folk with it out and about I'd not too unwell.

Stay safe!

It will be my 7th. Gp has contacted me to book my one. I had covid last year when on holiday in the Greek Islands and I was lucky that I just had a sore throat. I really think all those covid jabs have kept me safe. My chest consultant said I was extremely lucky it didn't go on my chest.

My GP has nothing to do with covid jabs and it’s totally run by the district hospital. That’s why I used the NHS app, as the letter or text might be a few weeks in coming. I’m off to Tesco’s car park for mine on the 17th April.

We are about to get many visitors to the county as the holiday season starts, so I like to be protected as possible without excluding myself from life.

Just done mine. Number 7 for me. I always take proof of treatment but never been asked for it so I assume they can see from records I`m immune suppressed.

Covid active here too where I live. Still wearing a mask when in enclosed places. It`s strange but I`ve noticed that some folk still practice social distancing in stores and narrow streets. Tends to be older folk so maybe we are more wary.

I went to my local hospital this week to see my Mohls surgeon and have him look at the incision created 10 days prior. During my appointment he mentioned the hospital had a party the night before to celebrate the fact that it was the first time in three years there were no Covid patients admitted. I found that piece of news interesting and upon reflection it’s been a couple months since anyone I know mentioned that they, a friend or a family member have the disease.

My sixth Covid booster was in November so I’m coming up on six months. Presently, the US CDC is not recommending another vaccination at this time even for the immune compromised. I believe. None of my doctors have indicated I need another booster. I will have my sixth and final obin infusion later this month so for that reason alone I don’t think the vaccination would help me now. My plan is to wait until the fall for my next vaccination and I am not worried about not getting another vaccination now. I know that isn’t scientific but it’s the approach I’m taking.

Best,

Mark

My son-in-law tested for Covid before he came to visit me recently. He had no symptoms at all and felt well. He tested positive which was worrying. It's difficult to know what to think.
