100mg/900mg/1000mg infusions done. Approved today for next 1000mg infusion 4/6/23.All CBC bloods are normal except MPV 5.7, HGB 12.3 which is a nothing burger, platelets dipped to 100 last week and have bounced back to 172 this week! Metabolic panel looks fantastic. ANC bounced back to 3.0....wow.
LDH dropped back down to 179
Super results so far for bloods!!!!
Symptoms up till 4/4/23
After infusion I have a slightly unpleasent reaction to the steroids. Some facial flushing, slight nausea with no vomit, slight feverish feeling without temp, slight jittery, very slight dizzy all from Steroids....I HATE STEROIDS!
But after this weeks infusion, there will only be one a month for 5 more months. So I will suck up the steroid reaction.
POSITIVE RESULTS SO FAR.
1. Bloods almost totally normal.
2. I have not felt this good for years and thats even though I have Steroid symptoms for a few days after infusion. My energy level is just enormously positive, my sense of a positive future is over the top good. I just have not felt this good for years. As others have said, " I did not realize how sick I was till I had treatment".
I am asking my social director to set up a family dinner while I am feeling so good pre Venetoclax ramp up next week.
3. Left side of torso pain is nearly all gone which is huge. It will now not stop me from being active. It was so bad I had to be very careful not to cause further injury.
4. All palpable lymph nodes back to normal.
5. Care team could not be happier with results! I will give a short update next week after bloods next week. That update will be in my Bio for anyone wanting to look. I won't be posting on the general forum here so as not to be repeticious.
