Hi SeaChanty,

-

That looks like some of the results I got from LabCorp and it is a mess. The way they present the upper and lower limits is very confusing.

This version was easier - it means I had more than 2500 antibodies and that exceeded the upper limit of the test protocol- VERY POSITIVE

That is good news !

It is confusing. I thought my number is good but I didnā€™t want to assume that it is.

You scored the max spike antibodies based on >250 U/ml, Congrats!!

Lenā€™s results from LabCorp shows his at max >2500 U/ml, more congratsā€¦ but that might confuse you as to why a different max value? LabCorp has increased their diagnostic max from >250, to >2500, to >25,000 U/ml, depending on test location.

I know cus Iā€™ve seen all 3 maxā€™s being in the LLS Study n frequently testing at my local LabCorp test site. Not sure if you tested with LabCorp?ā€¦ but if so, it appears that testing site hasnā€™t ramped up itā€™s diagnostic procedures to show results scores above 250.

If interested in knowing a more exact score (besides >250), you might want to call around to various LabCorp test sites to see if they show results all the way up to the 25,000 mark. Then again, maybe you donā€™t care and would rather be happy just knowing you maxā€™d out at the >250 mark?

Early in 2021, I was told by the lead researcher in the LLS Study that being in the lucky >250 U/ml spike antibodies ā€œbucketā€ (> 250 was the initial max score at my local LabCorp) with lots of spike antibodies ā€œis a good thing to haveā€ n he further stated ā€œhealthy folks tend to be in that particular bucketā€. Butā€¦. he WAS careful not to indicate what level of protection the scores indicate (as does likely the fine print in your test report says).

In summary, you were fortunate to score lots of spike antibodies having CLL. Unfortunately, for many on this forum they have not. It appears if one is in treatment, or recently off of treatment, that has a negative affect on oneā€™s ability to develop spike antibodies versus say being in early W&W mode.

Take care, stay well, and again .., congrats on your score.

Thank you! You are correct, I was confused about the numbers, so I wasnā€™t sure if mine was low or high.

Iā€™m satisfied knowing > 250 is good. šŸ˜†.
