NEW - Aussies with CLL - Your invitation to help researchers explore treatment goals and provide opinions on different treatment options

Further to last month's care and management survey, this month Community and Patient Preference Research (CAPPRE), on behalf of a pharmaceutical company, is conducting research with people living with CLL in Australia to explore their treatment goals as well as provide opinions on important factors with different treatment options.

CaPPRe is an independent research company based in Sydney which works closely with industry, academia, and government to encourage patient involvement and choice in healthcare decision making.

Visit survey.confirmit.com.au/wix... to check if you are eligible to participate in the 30-40 minute on-line survey. In appreciation for your time and contribution to the research, you will receive a payment of $70 for completion of the full survey. You will have the option of receiving a report of the findings. Participation is voluntary and you are free to withdraw at any time.

Need more information? Contact Ellie Morris at ellie.morris@cappre.com.au or call 0468 435 926.

CaPPRe are specialists in conducting research to determine people’s preferences, in this case what people value, need and expect in the care and treatment of CLL as well as ascertaining key goals with treatment. For further information about CaPPRe and our research please visit our website: cappre.com.au

Note that CLL Support UK will receive referral fees for completed surveys. Any fees received will go towards the charity's project to help people with CLL/SLL in their emotional/mental problems - particularly at diagnosis and Watch and Wait. I've seen how learning that we have CLL and that nothing will be done (watch and worry :) ) can sometimes have a greater impact on our mental and physical health than the actual CLL does, so it's a great initiative.

This is an open, unlocked post, so that it will reach more Australians.

Thank you Lisa! I specifically asked and was informed that the survey was strickly for Australians with CLL. Overseas members hugely helped with earlier surveys, helping those making an assessment with an understanding of benefit the newer treatments provided.

I have already done 2 surveys with them and have already received a $75 gift voucher and am waiting on a second voucher of $70. I spent the first voucher on hubby as he needed some new clothes!!! Do the survey if you can. It only takes about 30 minutes and you are helping in researching CLL which only benefits us CLL'ers and future patients

A reminder to Australian members that your input on different treatment options is welcome through this paid survey.

Calling out specifically for Aussie members who are prepared to share their treatment experience. CaPPRE need at least 10 more Australians who have had treatment for their CLL and hence know what changes they would like to see. We are currently in the process of transitioning to targeted therapies in Australia. Please contribute to ensuring the patient experience is considered when choices are made.
