Morning, my Granddaughters are about to have their annual flu jab, which here in the UK is a live nasal spray. I know I need to keep away from them for a while, but cannot find anything on the NHS website to suggest how long for. Does anyone know or have had experience of this? Thanks

I believe it’s a few days post vaccine that they potentially shed the virus for. I think I would leave it a week just to be sure. Emma

I am finding an "at least 7 days" recommendation on OncoLink:

If it's "attenuated live" the recommendation is at least 7 days. If it's a full on live, I am not sure it's even addressed, I would do 14 days. This is from 2013, I am not finding a more recent one. Better safe than sorry. But I am extremely risk-avoidant.
