sotrovimab
Have it! I had it in February. Absolutely no side effects and I felt better almost immediately! I did have some congestion and a blocked nose for about 3 weeks but it was nothing compared to how I felt with covid the first time I had it (pre vaccines and no Sotrovimab). I would not hesitate a second!
I think I am just a bit scared of the infusion. Thanks though, sounds really good, glad it worked for you x
I was as well but my fear of covid was far greater (I was really really unwell with it in 2020).
I don't think I have heard anyone on here reporting any side effects or reactions. I think the infusion takes an hour? Or 30 min? Don't even remember, the nurses were doing regular observations and one even sat with with me for an hour afterwards in case I had a reaction. I wouldn't have known I had it, honestly but I woke up the next day and felt so much better already. I think with the infusion there is not a risk of a rebound infection as there is with Paxlovid so I would prefer it (if I'm right). You will be fine, don't worry, much better than taking a risk with covid.
You need to have it and are fortunate to be able to. Don't take any risks, go and have it.
So pleased to read this. The comments seem really positive. How was your recovery? A team are coming to my house this evening to give me the infusion.
