Sotrovimab replacing Ronapreve

Hi

I informed everyone that my wife and the local IV team had just starting administering Ronapreve at a local community hospital inside a covid pod , this as now been replaced by sotrovimab ,

That's great to know as it seems to work much better against Omicron than Ronapreve. Just 🙏🏻 there's enough for everyone who needs it as apparently the government only bought 100 000 doses.

Have you been informed that this is a change in NHS practice across the board - i.e. Ronapreve has been phased out and replaced by sotrovimab (Xevudy) - or could this be just a local supply issue?
