I recently went for a ultrasound on my Gallbladder as my doctor suspected gallstones
Unfortunately I had the report back no stones
But my liver he says appears normal in size but increased in echogenicity and Heterogeneous in texture in keeping with steatosis and chronic changes With focal fatty sparring adjacent to the gallbladder the portal and hepatic veins are patent
I have an enlarged spleen 15 cm
Iam so confused as to how bad it is but waiting for bloods and results

Do you have CLL? You seem to be describing a fatty liver and enlarged spleen but the reasons for these occurrences in CLL are for very different reasons. Are you diabetic and/or overweight? Non alcoholic fatty liver disease is very common in diabetics. My spleen enlarged massively with my CLL when I needed treatment.
Wait for the results of your blood results but you can make substantial improvements to your liver function with positive lifestyle changes.
I have diabetes have lost quite abit if weight but need to loose more tbh What is CLL please Sorry if this is a stupid question but Iam new to all this
This site is for people affected by CLL which is Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia. It’s an incurable blood cancer. I suspect you’ve been drawn to the site via Google because a swollen spleen can be part of the condition but it’s highly likely your health situation is not in any way connected.Perhaps a site supporting people with liver conditions may be able to assist you more appropriately but work through this with your doctor until you have a firm diagnosis. Well done with the weight loss and diabetic control and keep persevering because it will really help with your issues.
I probably have a similar situation with my liver and have an enlarged spleen. I am told that I have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease ( NAFLD) but do not know the severity of such; the diagnosis is based on ultrasounds only. I currently have several more ultra sounds of my liver scheduled. I will be seeing my primary care physican shorty for another assessment and may be put on a treatment program of somekind; don't know the details yet. Am told that I may need to loose a few pounds to help eliminate the NAFLD, which is the primary treatment protocol. I understand that around 25% of the population has this condition but it is curable in the early stages, according to my review of what is on the net.
