All good news!! Had latest blood tests a few days ago to check on neutrophils as we were planning to go to West Coast of Argyll for 3 weeks and I needed to know if my neutrophils needed any GCSF boost before going. Last jab was 4 weeks ago so was not too hopeful but great news they were up to 2.6 so no jabs and the nurses confident that the bone marrow was working again and producing neutrophils naturally without support. Very happy feeling great and now gazing across the sea to misty Jura, Islay and Scarba. Its a stunning day the oyster catchers are calling and it feels great to be alive. I'm sure not everyone on this great forum will be feeling as happy and well as I am today but you are all in my thoughts. Patrick

Enjoying your positivity and zest for life today Patrick as you survey the stunning landscape around you. It made me smile and your good news is so welcome! 👍

Great news for you. So pleased that you will get to the west coast and it sounds like a stunning day. Enjoy 😊
The happy posts are just as welcome as the problems people have - thank you so much , Patrick. You have been such a positive role model through this. Have a lovely break.Chrisx
Wow, I am feeling so happy, just by you describing your area - but could you send an oyster or two down here😉. Have a great time. Well done
What a happy, positive post to see on a Monday! Have a wonderful trip. x
Very encouraging for those of us still on the journey to the final Venetoclax tablet. Enjoy your holiday . Thanks for posting
That's great to hear Patrick and have a wonderful holiday. If you can post a photo that would be lovely!
Hopefully it's cooler there by the coast. 😀
Enjoy your holiday and feeling good Patrick 🤗Dana
Best wishes for that BM to continue waking up from the onslaught. May your bit of respite by the sea be as refreshing as you make it sound--I am envious, as I would certainly love a deep breath of sea air. Happy to hear you are doing well. Bask, sir, Bask!
I awoke today to some long needed signs that it rained here last night. If I could still jump up into the air without it being jarring, I'd do so !
Patrick, what a wonderful and upbeat post! Thank you again. It's posts like this that keep us going when things are not going according to the plan. I'm hopeful I can post a similar one next year. Have a brilliant time, enjoy life!!!!!

Thanks Petra. I read all your blogs you are such a trooper and so strong despite all you are going through. YOU ARE THE INSPIRATIONAL ONE!! I just know it will be worth it and you will come out the other side and feel well again. I remember thinking at the worst times that I would never feel well again but today I have never felt better with a whole new appreciation and enjoyment of life. All my best wishes. P
Brilliant news.
Congratulations!! Were you only taking Venetoclax, or with another drug?
Hi. I was on a fixed term treatment for 12 months. So started on obinutuzumab and venetoclax March 2021. Obinutuzumab is taken for 6 months so that ended in Sept 2021 then carried on with venetoclax for the rest of the year which ended March 2022. Saw from your bio that you have really been through it. Thyroid cancer, legionnaires as well as CLL! What are the chances?! Poor you. Hope things are working out for you now. Beat wishes Patrick
Good news PRBS My husband is continuing to show great results also after completing an abbreviated year of Ven and O. He even had a CT scan of the chest as a followup after his pneumonia last month and some prior nodules have shrunken even further. His neutrophils are settling in the 3.6 range. His last treatment was early October when his neuts took a huge downturn and required a bunch of Gcsf. Bone marrow was done and cytology and he was undetected MRD. So no treatment and now with his IVIG monthly I hope we can start to have a bit more quality of life. Enjoy your vacation.
fantastic news. Some years ago we visited Islay, what a wonderful place and so many distilleries in such a small area!
I know!!!! Took my bike across to islay and cy led round the island past (I think 6 distilleries) dropped in on a couple for tour and tasting. Not sure if that was such a good idea with our condition but couldn't resist!! The rest of the ride was a bit of a blur!! Very special place. Best wishes Patrick
Excellent results to start planning a holiday. I had amazing results from Venteclax as well. Hope you have a great time.
