I have been w/w 4 years. 2021 was bad because all 3 shots increased lymph nodes. I have been having leg pain, and went to a Spinal Clinic. They did MRI and found lesions on my spinal column. Had Oncology look at results, and it resulted in my first PET Scan, another MRI to determine biopsy location, and then had biopsy done on lower sacrum. My Oncologist had not seen CLL with potential Multiple Myeloma. They are figuring out how to treat me.
Has anybody out there had this condition?
Thanks!

I have CLL with some characteristics of multiple myeloma. In my case I have kappa monoclonal gammapathy, basically my kidneys are full of IgG G-3. Normally this is seen in MM patients. I had a bmb to see what was going on but it only came back for CLL. According my specialist it is extremely rare,I am his only patient that presents like this. When we were trying to figure this out he did say that he has had patients with both CLL and MM but also very rare. I sure hope it isn’t MM.
Because my father had myeloma I discussed this with my haematologist as she specialises in myeloma.
A stem cell has the potential to become either a lymphoid line or a myeloid line, and a mutation can happen on either line but tends not to occur on both.
