For those that have had Covid, how many days passed between your first positive result to your first negative result?

Covid time period
I went from positive PCR to negative Lateral Flow test in 7 days but did receive an infusion of Sotrovimab on day 4.
Newdawn
I tested positive to negative at day 6.
WOW! Paxlovid? I'm on day 12 positive but took nothing (I had Evushield in February). I feel great! I hope you're still doing well.
I'm interested in your Evusheld experience. Were you advised by your specialist to have Evusheld? What CLL treatment had you been on? Did you have any adverse side effects? Did you feel that the Evusheld had a significant impact on your Covid experience?
Yes my specialist at MD Anderson encouraged me to get the Evusheld shots. I had zero ill effects and I do believe it has mitigated the seriousness of my Covid. In fact I feel well enough through this Covid that I refused Pax due to the fact I would have to reduce my Venetoclax treatment, which I ve been on for four years (previously on Ibrutinib).
10 days LFT55 days pcr
I had an infusion, Sotrovimab on day 4, very bad cold for just over 2 wks, Positive to Negative in 20 days.
It was 11 days from testing positive to becoming negative.
7 days. Sotrovimab on day 3
Tested negative on day 6.
6 days, started Paxlovid day 2.
6 days
93 days .infusion on day 6
I recently had Covid. Thanks to Evusheld, the virus scurried through me within 2 days. I was asymptomatic and only tested when a family member showed symptoms and tested positive.
Had Paxlovid that helped for 5 days but then I rebound with a total 20 days from +ve to -ve.
It took me three weeks to get a negative test resultat - without Paxlovid or Evushield, but with vaccinations/booster. According to the hematologist, this is not unusual.
Had Evusheld and masked, still got COVID but only felt like bad cold. Took 2 weeks to test negative.
4 weeks
20 days! Had bebtelovimab first day after testing positive. 4th day after infection.
Thanks to all that answered my question concerning Covid length. I hope all are doing well.
A week - got ronapreve, remdesivir & novel antibiotics on day 2/3 - I think
I tested positive right away after symptoms. I started paxlovid the next day and tested negative after 5 days, the day that I stopped the paxlovid. I then had more symptoms 2 to 3 days later, after stopping the paxlovid, and tested positive again. I didn't test negative again (for the final time...?) until over 3 weeks after my first symptoms.
Nine days before testing negative but almost three weeks with cough, plugged ears and no taste and smell
My case is odd and perhaps instructive towards caution.
Antigen Positive at medical center after 1 day of symptoms. Started Paxlovid that day. I had gotten Evusheld 1 week before symptoms.Antigen Negative at home (iHealth test) on 6th day after symptoms, 12 hours after last Paxlovid. Major sinus congestions continues.
Antigen positive at home (iHealth test) again on 10th day after symptoms.
Antigen negative at home (iHealth test) again on 14th day after symptoms, but lost my sense of smell, and left ear blocked. Started Azithromycin and Fluticasone.
I have had numerous previous bacterial infections in left ear. No culture done due to holiday weekend. Not clear if loss of smell is due to COVID or secondary infection. I'm seeing an ENT (otolaryngoligist) today, and hope to get culture.
Note how antigen positivity was back and forth. Local medical center clinic no longer does PCR as a rule - only antigen.
I do think that Evusheld and Paxlovid kept me from being admitted, especially since some medicos see people like me as at-risk, and are more likely to admit for observation. The decisions made by PC/GP (Primary Care/General Practitioner) may differ a lot from the shift leader at the Emergency Department. They fight entirely different wars against COVID, I think.
