For those of you have been able to get the Evusheld shots? Have any of you had any side effects?

No issues other than locating it. Not so much as a bruise.

I had a few side effects. A couple hours after the injections I began to feel bad. And sleep that night was rough. The next day was bumpy as well, but improving. Tylenol was enough to take the edge off.

On a related note, it appears that another variant (BA.2) is emerging. This variant is not neutralized by Evusheld. Just when you think you are safe!

It’s a good thing for me I wake up feeling refreshed after 4-5 hours.

Best wish’s

I heard a little bit about this new variant BA.2 , it’s my understanding this variant is like the Delta virus. If so it’s also my understanding that the EVUSHELD would be very effective with the delta.

I had my 2 shots Thursday. The only side effects I had was a lot of energy on very little sleep. I sleep 4-5 hours and wake up like I’m 20 years old and I’m 50.

Send some of that energy my way, please!

I did not notice any effects. 2 shots given IM, simultaneously by 2 nurses, at the infusion center at a local hospital 9 days ago. I had to wait 1 hour after so they could monitor me for reactions. Felt nothing. All was well and easy.

Now I plan to get semi quantitative spike protein bloodwork in 2 more weeks to see if antibodies show up positive with quantitative values in my blood. I'm so anxious to see.

Best to you BeckyLUSA

No side effects. Maybe a little more tired the next day but not sure it was related. I think I read Evusheld was effective in the laboratory vs the new Omicron variant.

Just a bad tummy due to nerves before getting shots! 😳 Otherwise no side effects whatsoever (other than glee!)

I received the Evusheld a week ago and no side effects. I also started Acalabrutinib 3 days later. I have been experiencing headaches in the morning but they seem more like sinus headaches. They get better upon rising. I feel better about being in public places mainly healthfood store but I do wear my KN95 mask.

Got it yesterday with no problems. Could see it was new to this Drs office. They were VERY watchful. 1 Nurse takes vitals, 2 Dr comes in to talk with me, 3 Wait 15 min for Evusheld to defrost, 4 Nurse administers 2 injections and tells me I will be waiting an hour and that I'll be checked on in 30 min, 5 30 min checkup ( I can hear timer buzz) all fine, 6 1 hr checkin with vitals, all fine, 7 Dr back to see me and send me home. All good.
