A Priority PCR test kit arrived today. I am one of the may CLL patients who did not receive the CEV letter by the 10th of January. I did lobby my GP and CNS Nurse but I am not sure which one of them fixed it. Or perhaps I have just been lucky!!
Update 01/02/22:
1. It seems that "central" NHS is sending out the kits. Which probably means GPs and CNS Nurses where not involved.
2. The package contains a "Red" return box and a booklet which says "Priority Test" on it. This is different to a routine PCR kit.
3. Page 15 of the booklet indicates the process by which treatments will be provided, and what actions to take if that does not work.
I hope this helps.

Yes me also. I really hope everyone that still needs one receives one. I did give my GP the code that was shown on HU not sure if that sealed the deal or not but feel just a bit more armoured. Also in Yorkshire.
Mine arrived today as well. Spoke to GP this morning (who is also immunocompromised!) apparently the none arrival is nothing to do with SNOMED codes - simply a case of 'screw up'!! Hope everyone who didn't get a kit first time around is sorted soon. Though it looks like we won't need them going forward from 10th Feb!!!
Mine's arrived too. I wrote to both MP and 10 Downing Street - and I'm grateful to the charities and media for championing and pursuing this, and it does seem sensible that from 10th February we'll be able to access treatment with a positive LFT.
Unexpectedly I also received a “priority” kit on Monday. A couple weeks ago I managed to persuade 119 to send me a PCR kit. Comparing the two kits, the one from 119 is described as a “home” kit, which I suspect might not have the same priority as the “priority” kit. So I now feel more assured of quickly getting treatment should I experience Covid symptoms.
Same here. The box contents inside however were all taken out of the box and shoved in the Royal Mail bag. I am on W&W but not sure why I received this PCR...can we not get PCR test anytime anyway?
I also received mine yesterday, feel quite relieved that I have it! Let’s hope we don’t have to use them! Stay safe everyone as the outside world is relaxing all restrictions, feeling a bit more vulnerable and exposed!
Great, mine arrived yesterday but no letter or email. Just relieved to receive the priority kit and very grateful for the lobbying from the Blood Cancer Charities.
Mine arrived as well, right out of the blue.Actually the package to send it back is red, unlike the “ordinary” one I had requested from 119 previously.
No letter but the booklet states I am receiving it as the records show I am clinically vulnerable.
Perhaps I can stop worrying a bit now and stop lecturing my wife on the “work rounds” I had learnt from the advice on this forum.
I received my priority test kit yesterday too. I phoned my gp and gave him the code. He thanked me for being so informative and said he changed it. He also said he was send a letter to whoever sends the test out
