New talk available today on Youtube about our favourite subject as it affects people with haematological cancers incl. CLL, especially in NZ.

Much of it will be "old hat" to you folk, but you might be interested in Covid-19 treatments available (or not available) in NZ, at around 32 minutes into the talk.

Cheers -Jim.

Kia ora and thanks Jim. I watched Dr Weinkove today. Info specific to us in NZ is useful.

I'd not heard before that being on Rituximab lowered one's chances of making good vaccine induced antibodies, but I knew my Ibrutinb likely did the same

Gorgeous picture of a baby morepork!

As you may have seen from the many vaccination response posts here, most of us are pretty much stuffed as far as making useful antibodies is concerned. We just hope, as Rob says, that any response is better than no response (or no vaccination).

I will be glad when there's more use of P2 / N95 masks (when you can get them again). Most people around here are still wearing cloth masks. Half the people wearing surgical masks have their nose poking over the top. I think our Covid cases will have to rise before most people become less complacent.

Look after yourself. Cheers --Jim.
