Are there any drugs to take that help to postpone the toxic CLL treatments. I heard of one shot that you can take twice a month that will work for a year. Now I lost the shortcut on my computer to go back to that page.
I am so far so good with my blood tests WBC @ 48, although the covid shot made my lymph nodes in my groin swell up and now they don't want to go back to normal. I don't have swelling anywhere else. Hospital wants me to get booster no. 3. Hmm, what will happen then.? Ho ho
Anyway, as long as my tests stay OK perhaps I will stay on idle and not worry to much. (Yeah, just like that

Welcome to our community; I see that this is your first post.
From reading your post and profile (thanks for completing that!), I would say that you are overly concerned regarding the toxicity of modern CLL treatments. In the USA, you have by far the best access to selective targeted therapies, both FDA approved and through an enviable number of clinical trials, later generation even more selectively targeted therapies with hopefully even less off target effects that can potentially cause side and adverse effects. Anything we take to hopefully improve our health, comes with the potential to cause unwanted effects that could worsen our health. That's in part why watch and wait is still the standard approach for CLL management. I've been monitoring CLL treatments, both approved and alternative, for over 12 years and a "one shot (drug) that you can take twice a month that will work for a year" doesn't bring anything to mind, sorry.
Thanks - This shot was not suggested as treatment towards remission. Only as a delaying tactic towards avoiding targeted therapies too soon. I'll find the article sooner or later.
Perhaps a "Ramping up" regimen of 1.0 OZ to 100 ounces per day -also since you have trouble getting up; I think you are missing doses! Thanks for your past advice. I felt better straight away 👍
Hmm, I don't know what to think now. I thought bennevisplace meant that the Tequila was top of the line therapy . . . I'll bet that the worm along with the lemon/lime must also be administered - yes, that's the ticket!
