Offering hope

Today is my dad's birthday, and I am just thinking of him wanting to offer hope to those on here. Two years ago, on his birthday, I was diagnosed with stomach cancer. It was my secondary cancer as three years prior I was diagnosed with CLL and underwent 4 rounds of FCR. When the CLL came back and I was getting ready to go into a clinical trial, the CT showed stomach cancer. I had to get that removed before the trial could start. In between all of this my mom died of Sepsis due to HER CLL. Anyway, here I am almost finished with my trial, walking every day, still working, being so careful due to covid. But, the point is, I am still standing. My parents taught me that. You can stand too. The medical miracles we are offered now are incredible. Do your research; reach out; be an advocate for yourself and your community. We can all do this. I love this forum so very much. Thank you.
