I have probably one year supply of Imbruvica that I cannot use. Is there any law or regulations preventing me form giving this to somebody in USA?

Can you give somebody Imbruvica for free in USA
Drug laws vary from state to state in the US. Generally speaking, it is not legal to give away any prescription drugs. Depending on the state, both civil and criminal penalties could apply.
That said, in the real world I suspect most District Attorneys have little interest in going after someone who gives away a cancer drug to save someone else the cost of buying it.
Most doctors would frown on such a practice for a variety of reasons. That's my understanding anyway.
I am not a lawyer, but I think there are both federal and state laws that make using or sharing medications illegal. If you take a pill that was prescribed to someone else or give that pill to another person, it is against the law. You could face going to jail, including any liability for what happens after you give away the medications.
How did you get a old of 1 years supply? I can't get 2 months without a long song and a dance.
There is a US charity to whom you can legally donate your unused Ibrutinib. Hopefully someone can provide you with contact information.

Donating prescription drugs to an appropriate charity is legal in 38 US states ncsl.org/research/health/st... and the charity to contact has been shared before, but I can't find the post.
Surely someone in the USA knows whom to contact?
You can donate your unused Ibrutinib to Sirium sirum.org/
Also according to this site the Wyoming Department of Health will accept out of state donations

How in the heck did you get a year’s supply of ibrutinib? Here in USA, I need a monthly pharmacist phone call with labs, before reordering. Ibrutinib $13,000 Month x 12 Months = $156,000.
As my side effects were getting worse I was dropping dosage and accumulating meds. I asked them to send me less but I guess you have to prescribe recommended dosage. Than I switched to Acalabrutininb. Not a typo.
I see, another example of what is wrong with health care.
Talk to your CLL expert doctor, and see if they have an informal (under the table- no records- completely deniable) method to get the drugs to someone that really needs them. By definition no one will admit that it has happened. The DEA, legal staff and insurance folks would go crazy if they knew.-

You can give it to your Doctor who can give it to patients. My doctor gave me someone’s pills that didn’t need it anymore. It was very helpful since the cost is so high on my own. It saved me three month of purchasing it.
Give it to your doctor. I think everyone on these drugs should try to stockpile a weeks worth -- you never know if the supply chain could be interruped by an ice storm or whatever.
Give to your Dr. When my husband was stopped of taking imbruvica and change to Calquence. We give the supply we did not use to Dr. He can give to someone that was needing in a mean time the find an farmacy of foundation to help them with the medicine.
