Thanks for reference. Query wether Ibrutinib blocks response to covid vaccine. I am on Ibrutinib but no antibody response from Moderna though I did feel sick for 2 days after 2nd shot. At least it may help us if we get covid.

I also had a reaction to both my shots - overwhelming tiredness and chills the day after. Was feeling much better by day 3.

In November/December '21 and without Covid antibodies or pneumococcal antibodies, I was hospitalised for 4 weeks (most of that time on oxygen) with Covid Pneumonitis. I was wondering whether the Ibrutinib I have taken for 9 years did have an effect. I did have my 3rd vaccination on 15 October just over 3 weeks before hospitalisation.

Somehow, although a rough time, I survived intact except for a loss of 1 and a half stone, mostly from my legs!!! I have since had a 4th jab in February. However I am still close to the same isolation I went through the previous 2 years, meeting friends who are testing to eat outside and avoiding crowded places. Has anyone had any experience of the new anti virals that we are supposed to get if we test positive. I have a list of them and I asked in hospital if they had them but they didn't.

Best to all, stay well and safe

Mike
