Normally I am in Lurk and Learn mode, but I thought this was important enough to share.

Rick, do you have CLL or are you a caretaker for someone with CLL? We welcome all who wish to join in. The subject you have posted a reference to is one we have had discussions and questions about.

I hope you, if you are a CLL patient, will keep up the practice of safety, as, we have yet to learn how well we are protected other than from the hospitalized situations---and we can't be certain of that as many of us have other co-morbidities.

Tell us something about you and your CLL experience.

Hello cllady01 from Ontario, Canada. I was diagnosed in November 2018 with WBC of 30.6 and Lymphocytes of 15.6. Current WBC is 43.5 and Lymphocytes of 35.7

No other comorbidities currently.

Thanks for asking.

I apologize for not seeing your former replies---I looked for info in your profile, but you have not included any in regard to CLL. I hope you will write your CLL info pn your profile page.

Hi Rick,

I see from your previous replies that 5 months ago you had been recently diagnosed with CLL and are on Watch & Wait monitoring.

Thanks for the link. As cllady01 has said, this is a very popular and well covered subject presently and one of great concern to us all.

Hope you’re continuing to do well on your active monitoring.

Thank you for your response.I do have an upcoming appointment next month.

Although I was told that I would only have my values checked annually, I decided to have them done semi-annually. I think, like perhaps many of us, we are concerned about the progression.

There is a more positive report in today’s London Times of people who have blood cancer post-inoculation. Mainly focused on myeloma - but better news than beforehand anyway. In essence, some protection.
