Dr Campbell has been a valuable reference to me over this pandemic, I follow him with interest and he always summarises well and quotes his sources which for the most part are academic/ medical research hospitals and universities. In summary the risk of clotting with AZ is actually reported at lower % levels than would be expected in the normal (unvaccinated) population. The insidence of clotting reported for the pfeizer vaccine is at a similar rate as the AZ so think on that for a moment. Take what you're offered. The risk of covid far outweighs the risk of a clot, in terms of probability of getting either and the severity of any outcome.

My husband has CLL, wait and watch, and our city (in Ontario Canada) has offered AZ to our age group of 60-64. Because of all the recent news stories, we weren’t sure what to do. Our two main sources of trusted information are his specialist and this site. You both offered the same advice - take what’s offeeed - and we had our shots on the weekend.
We’ve been a little tired but that’s it.
I’m so glad I found this forum back when he was diagnosed 5 years ago!
