Non stop sneezing

After 8 months on /Ibrutinib I suddenly started sneezing up to 10 times at least on and off . I thaught maybe my cpap machine causing that or just a sinus issue happening . I havnt had sinus problems for 2 years and rarely have colds even though I’m supposed to be immune compromised. So I will try a sinus rinse . It worked well last time I had this happening . Has anyone experience this ?

I sneeze a lot when my house is too dusty, or when the heating kicks on & humidity levels drop. Both can irritate sinuses. Especially on CPAP. The sinus rinse with saline sounds like a great idea! Plus check the humidity in your bedroom at least, since that's the room we usually spend the most time in. The Mayo Clinic recommends between 30-50%; I shoot for 30-40% in the house. Some studies say 40-60% is optimum for sleeping so I went for the 40% max; higher than that for me makes my night sweats stickier.

Hi there,Ive recently come off Ibrutinib after 20 months, while on it my sinuses and ears were frequently blocked, since coming off Ibrutinib - 2 weeks ago my sinuses and ears have recovered.

I also had bouts of sneezing too.

Strange

Regards

Ha,that made me smile,I've been experiencing blocks of sneezing for about 3 months now, didn't attribute it to my Ibrutinib, I've been on it 18 months now,I haven't had a cold or virus when I've sneezed,or been in any kind of dusty atmosphere!

Interesting! Considering we have lymph nodes in our head near sinuses, changes in lymph nodes inducing sneezing could be possible. What a marvelous machine our bodies are!

Hello Kmegood

Depending on the type of heat you have, I vacuum burning chamber on furnace at start of heating season and be sure and change air handler filter.

Hi. I changed the filter last September so I think January I’ll change it or maybe sooner

I am convinced my "seems like constant" sneezing is caused by taking Imbruvica. After starting Imbruvica one year ago, it seemed as though "my allergies" were much worse; however, did not make the connection to Imbruvica until I was taken off of it for a month due to AFIB, which they thought was brought on by Imruvica. After I stopped taking it, all my head congestion, sneezing, etc. stopped. They have since determined my AFIB is not associated with Imbruvica; however, 2 hours after resuming Imbruvica, I was back to sneezing, head and nasal congestion. I will definitely be discussing this next visit.
