For those on Pentamidine nebuliser treatment - is anybody able to have this treatment at home ?

Yes. The hospital loaned me a machine. The clinical haematology nurse came out to my home to choose an appropriate room and went through the process with me. Depends on the Health Authority if you are in the UK.

It was easier for me to have the treatment at home rather than use a room at the hospital which then had to be put out of use for several hours whilst all traces of the drug disappeared.

Good experience.

Devon Health Authority in the South West. This was 4 years ago and I was trialling that it could be done at home. It was successful.

In 2016 i had a course of Pentamidine nebuliser but I had it at the hospital.
