Hi to you reader. First of all I want to ask you, If an opportunity to help with research for treatments and cures for health conditions , would you accept ?

If you answer is yes continue reading else STOP HERE.

I started number with this 20 years ago with a Seti@home. Seti@home was a computer program that used my computer to analyze data and return the results to Berkeley. The Program evolved to BOINC and diversified to other areas including treatments and cures for health conditions. Projects like Rosetta@home actively engage in computer simulations that yield promising results.

I asked Rosetta@home crunchers about this and got this answer "The team has already designed a protein with anti-cancer properties, clinical trials will start soon. neoleukin.com/ " ( check neoleukin.com/science/#pubs ).

Thousands of individuals from different backgrounds helped with this. You can help too.

What do you need?

1) A computer, an old android tablet or an android phone. If you use an android device it will consume a lot of resources and normal operation is difficult. Some android devices will not work because of cpu incompatibility.

2)The computer program or the app.

App for android: play.google.com/store/apps/...

Program: boinc.berkeley.edu/ (Download BOINC)

On the tools tab choose Add Project,

Choose Rosetta@home from the list.

Create an account at Rosetta@home

Wait

A project added window will show up, press finish.

You are done.

****FOR ANDROID DEVICES THE PROCESS IS SIMILAR. Take your time to check the menus and tabs.

What kind of computer do I need?

Any running windows 7 or better. One you may have stored away because you upgraded, a laptop with a bad screen that you can connect to a monitor; those are preferred because they could become a Project Dedicated computer else use your every day computer. You can find used Intel Atom x5 or i3 nucs with OS for less than $100.00 in auction sites. I got one for $33.00 . WIFI or ethernet port is required for data transmission.

Are there more similar programs?

YES! You can download Folding@home at foldingathome.org/start-fol...

They let you customize your project time for cancer only.

Can you run BOINC and Folding@home at the same time?

Yes.

Should I consider running more than one project at BOINC?

Yes. Advances in Math, Computer Sciences and Pure Sciences can help to develop tools and methods for researchers that may help to find cures and treatments.
